High Speed Internet Services (DSL/Cable, T1, DS3, and faster!)

  • High speed Internet access is a critical tool to insure business productivity
  • There are 5 main services/connections that your business could use depending on your application and budget:
    • Internet/Data T1
    • Internet/Data T1 is the standard for businesses seeking mission critical Internet connectivity
    • Providing dedicated bandwidth (1.54Mb x 1.54Mb) it is able to handle the demands of users operating in a data centric environment
    • Can be bonded together to get 3.0Mb, 4.5Mb, or 6.0Mb – this requires special routers (preferably a Cisco 2811)
    • Please use our “Online” T1 quote tool at our Home page to get a quote instantaneously or Call us at now at 1-813-463-1939
    • Internet/Data DS3
    • DS3 circuits provided businesses, web hosting companies, ISP’s, and VOIP (Voice Over IP) providers with dedicated bandwidth (45Mb x 45Mb) for their Internet connectivity
    • This is an ideal solution for companies that have out grown their Internet/Data T1 connections and are in search of unlimited high-speed access
    • Please use our “Online” T1 quote tool at our Home page to get a quote instantaneously or Call us at now at 1-813-463-1939
    • Internet/Data OC3, OC12, and OC48
    • Optical carrier services (Fiber Optics) providing bandwidth from 155Mb to 2,488Mb to meet the requirements of net centric enterprises and carriers focused on high bandwidth applications such as web hosting, content delivery, and streaming audio/video
    • Please use our “Online” T1 quote tool at our Home page to get a quote instantaneously or Call us at now at 1-813-463-1939
    • Internet/Data Dedicated Ethernet (“Metro Ethernet”)
    • Internet/data dedicated Ethernet services takes established Ethernet technology and extends it beyond the local area network (LAN) environment into a metropolitan area network – thus the term “Metro Ethernet”
    •  A typical Ethernet connection, whether it be 10Mb, 25Mb, 50Mb, 100Mb, or 1,000Mb handoffs between your network and facility
    • There is no need for proprietary equipment
    • You get more “bang for your buck” because the same Ethernet handoff scales in bandwidth, which means that you will not have to buy multiple routers as compared with typical telecommunication circuits
    • Your business can start at 1Mb of bandwidth and work your way up to 1000Mb if needed
    • Please use our “Online” T1 quote tool at our Home page to get a quote instantaneously or Call us at now at 1-813-463-1939
    • Unlimited DSL and Cable Internet Access
      • Stay connected to the Internet 24/7/365 and never worry about the slow dial up connections ever again
      • Download music, videos, send your vacation photos, and much more
      • Its low monthly price covers all your basic Internet needs
      • Typically there are 3 basic types of DSL service:
      • ADSL (Asymmetrical DSL)this DSL product is capable of sending more information downstream than upstream.  This is more advantageous to those users who download more data than upload data.  This is a best effort product, which means, the closer your business is located to the central office (C.O.) the faster your connection will be.  The typical connection speeds are as follows:  1.54Mb x 384Kb, 3.0Mb x 768Kb, and 6.0Mb x 1.54Mb.  Again, the closer you are to the C.O., the more likely you will get the faster connection.
      • SDSL (Symmetrical DSL) – this DSL connection is if you are running mission critical applications.  This product can deliver information at equal speeds downstream or upstream.  If your business sends and receives equal amounts of data, this DSL product will work well for your business.  Your business should be located within 8,000 feet of the C.O to get a quality SDSL connection.  Typically the connection speeds are 1.0Mb x 1.0Mb.
      • IDSL (ISDN Technology) – this DSL product was designed for customers who were outside the ADSL footprint.  This can reach customers who are 22,000 feet away from the C.O.  This combines ISDN with DSL by delivering an IDSN circuit with connection speeds of 128Kb x 128Kb.  Once the signal is delivered to the C.O., it is then connected to an ISP POP via a high bandwidth connection.
      • Get your business up and running with business class, Cable Internet service
      • From small to large businesses, business class Cable Internet service can offer your business a host of products and services to meet your needs
      • Cable Internet’s speed, technology, and pricing make it a cost effective and reasonable online solution
      • The Cable Internet service product suite includes solutions for Internet access as well as multiple client access
      • Depending on where you are in the U.S., Cable companies have come up with these standards in speed:

  • You have to have Cable infrastructure to get the Cable Internet service
  • Cable Internet speeds can also vary depending on the location and the number of users in the Cable footprint

PRI’s and Digital T1’s
  • Primary Rate Interface (PRI) has 24 channels (23 for voice and 1 “B” channel for signal ling and management)
  • Your telephone systems must have a PRI interface card
  • A PRI is delivered on a T1
  • PRI’s help businesses improve productivity and customer service with faster call set ups and connections
  • A PRI has 3 protocols (NI-1, NI-2, or ATT Custom).  These protocols provide the customer with a Calling Number (ANI), Calling Name, or both
  • Certain providers will do a (CTS) Customer Traffic Study.  This is a detailed report that will allow customers to measure, monitor, and forecast voice traffic per voice channel
  • A PRI can have thousands of DID’s assigned to the voice channels
  • Similar to an Integrated T1 (where you have both voice and data on a T1) you can have an Integrated PRI (where you have both our voice channels and data channels)
  • Similar to a PRI, Digital Trunks have DID’s assigned to the voice channels as well
  • Digital Trunk T1’s, have no “B” channel – 24 voice channels
  • Digital Trunk T1’s must have a DTI (Digital T1 Interface) card installed into the phone system in order to work
